My upcoming trip to Israel

According to my husband, this trip will give me the best of both world of consulting. I get to work close to home but I am going to enjoy an international trip. Work is taking me to Israel and I tihnk my family is quite nervous about this one. But, who can blame them? I would be too if it was my daughter going to Israel for a few days.

Israel has been on my list of must-travel for a long time now. I always imagined what it would be like to be at Jerusalem and swimming (or floating at the Dead Sea). For someone like me who is not religious, my purpose is to be there and breathe the air while I ponder historical events in the area. The war broke out and I have put Israel aside - but now, I am going there on business - to Tel Aviv. Despite how everyone else feels about Israel right now, my husband is 100000% comfortable with me being there. He is 0% worried about the war because Tel Aviv is far from the war zone. Erik really wants to go as well but can't take the days off so I will have to go to the 'Motherland' without him this time.

Idling...

have you ever sat around in idle? yeah, sitting in traffic counts. Sure, there is an end goal, but in the process, you feel like you are not getting anywhere. In fact, you are not doing much, just kinda day dreaming, and not being all that productive. But again, you can't exactly be productive because this is not your choice - so all you can do is sitting, idling, ... and maybe once in awhile, you twirl your thumbs... and maybe once in awhile, you think about things and friends that you have not talked to in awhile.

So the bottom line is - it is good to be idle, IN PRIVATE! But if you are sitting in the car idling, or sitting in an office, waiting for some info which may or may not get to you this evening, what can you do while you are idling?
